(Sharecast News) - Stevia sweetener producer PureCircle announced a number of changes to its management team and board committees on Friday, reporting that James Ritchie had been appointed chief restructuring officer and interim chief financial officer, with immediate effect.
The AIM-traded firm said that in addition, it had made a number of changes to its board committees, also with immediate effect.

Guy Wollaert had been appointed chair of the remuneration committee and would step down as chair of the nomination committee, and Ali bin Abdul Kadir, Datuk was joining the audit committee as chairman.

Robert Cheim Dau Meng, Dato', was joining the remuneration committee and nomination committee, and Wan Azmi Wan Hamzah, Tan Sri - a non-independent non-executive director - was joining the nomination committee.

Rosemarie Andolino was joining the nomination committee and the remuneration committee, and John Slosar, currently a member of the nomination committee, had been appointed as its chair.

"In addition to these changes, Guy Wollaert has been appointed as senior independent director of the company," PureCircle said in its statement.

"Guy was appointed as a non-executive director of the company on 10 July 2015, and this senior independent director appointment is in addition to his role on the board committees."

At 1238 GMT, shares in PureCircle were flat at 1.89p.
