(ShareCast News) - Parliamentary communications company Dods Group reported on a year of improved revenue and earnings on Monday, with revenue rising to £19.6m from £18.3m in the 12 months to 31 March.The AIM-traded firm's gross profit margin widened to 39%, compared with 28% a year ago, and its adjusted EBITDA was £3m, up from £1.2m.It more than doubled its cash generated from operations to £3.5m from £1.4m, and at year-end Dods had net cash of £9.1m, compared with £5.1m at the start of the period.Dods Group reported a profit before tax of £1.1m for the financial year - 12 months ago, it reported a £5m loss.The company's board confirmed its adjusted earnings per share totalled 0.66p for the year, up from 0.13p."I am pleased to report Dods Group achieved a strong set of results for the fiscal year ending 31 March 2016," commented chairman Cheryl Jones."This was a pivotal year for Dods in the development and early execution of the group's business plan," she added.
