CPP Group's chief financial officer (CFO) has announced his intention to step down after 13 years with the business.Craig Parsons has held a senior position in the group's finance arm since 2003 and has served as CFO since September 2013.He played a leading role in refinancing the life assistance products provider in July 2013, and most recently in securing new equity funding for the business in December 2014 alongside restructuring its balance sheet."I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at CPP over the last 13 years. With the recent work to strengthen the group's financial position now completed, I feel that it is the right time for me to explore new challenges," Parsons said."Craig has given a huge amount to CPP during his time here and has been a valued colleague and an excellent CFO. He leaves with our very best wishes for his continued success in the future," executive chairman Eric Anstee commented.CPP said it was already in the advanced stages of securing Parson's successor.As of 09:30 BST, CPP was trading 2.2% lower at 6.8p.
