SYDNEY (Dow Jones)--Vodafone Hutchison Australia said Wednesday it has refinanced A$3.0 billion through a syndicated loan with 12 banks. The three year finance replaces loans from the company's shareholders. "This external financing gives VHA a new capital structure and facilitates our ability to pursue further growth options in the Australian market," Chief Executive Nigel Dews said in a statement.
