WARSAW (Dow Jones)--Polish mobile telephone operator Polkomtel will pay 60% of last year's net profit in dividends, its Chief Executive Jaroslaw Bauc is quoted as saying by daily Parkiet. The company's profit last year stood at 980 million zloty ($295 million), Bauc said. Polkomtel's shareholders have already received an interim dividend of PLN464 million for last year. Poland's largest power group PGE (PGE.WA) holds 21.85% of Polkomtel, while oil refiner PKN Orlen SA (PKN.WA) and copper miner KGHM Polska Miedz (KGH.WA) each hold 24.39%. The three companies are controlled by the Polish treasury. State-owner coal miner Weglokoks SA has a 5% stake in Polkomtel, and Vodafone Group PLC (VOD.LN) holds 24.39% of the firm.
