Director dealings: Smiths Group non-executive director makes share purchase

(Sharecast News) - Smiths Group revealed on Tuesday that non-executive director Alister Cowan had acquired 5,000 ordinary shares in the FTSE 100-listed engineering business.

Cowan, who was appointed to the board of Smiths Group in July 2024, purchased the shares on Monday at an average price of 2,268.10p, for a total value of £113,405.

As of 1400 GMT, Smiths shares were up 1.54% at 2,246p.
