(Sharecast News) - FTSE 250 housebuilder Crest Nicholson has appointed Duncan Cooper as its new group finance director, replacing Robert Allen who left the business last October.Chartered accountant Cooper, who will take up the position on 17 June, joins the company from J Sainsbury, where he has held a range of finance roles since 2010, most recently director of group finance.He previously held finance roles at Sky, GlaxoSmithKline and Deloitte.Chairman Stephen Stone said: "We are delighted to be welcoming Duncan onto our board and are confident that he will be a key contributor to our business, bringing a range of senior finance, investor and operational experience as we continue to embed our strategy of prioritising cashflow and dividends, maximising value in the portfolio, and improving operational efficiency."At 1320 GMT, the shares were up 3.7% to 393.60p.
