WELLINGTON (Dow Jones)--Vodafone NZ, the official seller of the iPhone in New Zealand, said Friday it sold its entire stock of Apple Inc.'s (AAPL) latest iPhone model four hours after the phone went on sale. The company, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Vodafone Group (VOD.LN), delayed the launch of the iPhone 4 until midday. It then announced that the phone would only be sold with contracts due to the limited stock it had. Vodafone NZ didn't give a reason for the delay, or mention the number of phones it sold. Apple was unavailable for comment. -By Lucy Craymer, Dow Jones Newswires; 64-4-471-5990; [email protected] (END) Dow Jones Newswires July 30, 2010 02:34 ET (06:34 GMT)
