United Carpets, a floor coverings specialist, saw its shares plunge by a third on Monday morning after trading of its shares resumed. The group suspended trading of its shares back in August, when it was unable to issue financial results within the timeframe specified by AIM rules.However, following the issued of a pained final results statement for the year to October 5th, in which it stated that the period had been "extremely challenging", the group was able to continue trading. The share price fell 32% to 2.12p by 10:00 on Monday morning.NR
