(Sharecast News) - TI Fluid Systems said on Wednesday that it has appointed Alexander De Bock as its new chief financial officer and executive director, succeeding Ronald Hundzinski, who is planning to retire.

De Bock, who is currently CFO and senior vice president of ZF's commercial vehicle business, will join the company by no later than 1 May 2023.

Prior to joining ZF, De Bock was CFO of WABCO Holdings, a publicly listed supplier of vehicle controls systems to the commercial vehicle industry. TI Fluid said he has 16 years of experience in the industry covering a wide range of executive roles, including the head of FP&A, investor relations, group treasurer and merger & acquisitions.

Hundzinski will remain in his current positions as CFO and executive director until De Bock succeeds him.

Chief executive Hans Dieltjens said: "The group is grateful to Ron for his many contributions over the past several years working with the team and our key stakeholders to guide the company through an exceptionally challenging period for the industry."

At 1450 GMT, the shares were down 3.7% at 135p.
