TechMARK movers: ProStrakan predicts 2010 operating profit

Pharma company ProStrakan says that it is on course to make an operating profit in 2010. ProStrakan has reiterated that its 2009 revenues will be in the range £78m - £79m. That is 40% growth compared with 2008. The company made an EBITDA profit in several months during 2009. The company expects two US approvals during the next 12 months. Mobile telecoms giant Vodafone is lower after US telecoms firm Verizon Communications said that its 2009 earnings will be 13 cents to 15 cents lower than the previous year. Vodafone is the co-owner of Verizon's mobile phone operations. Anlaysts had been expecting a 9 cents drop in Verizon's earnings to $2.45 a share. Pension expenses were part of the reason for the greater than expected drop in earnings.
