Dialight is the biggest TechMARK riser after the LED technology specialist said it is to supply the state of New Mexico with over 8,000 individual LED Traffic Signals, in the first phase of a programme to replace the incandescent lighting currently used in traffic intersections across the state. The group said the order is supported by the expected $3bn grant the state will receive as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment federal stimulus package. "This contract is a further example of how the United States has a firm commitment to LED lighting in the future, with the significant cost savings it offers and its benefit to the environment. With many states expected to use stimulus package funds to invest in its LED programs, we should see greater momentum in agreements of this nature from other state governments across the United States," said chief executive Roy Burton.IT services firm Morse dropped after it said revenue from continuing operations is expected to be slightly below that reported in the first six months. "Adjusted EBIT margin on this revenue reflects the benefit of the cost reduction exercises undertaken during the year and progress made on resolving certain problem SAP projects undertaken in Business Application Services," said the group. Infrastructure, Services & Technology - Europe (Spain and Ireland) is anticipated to be marginally profitable for the full year.FTSE TechMARK - RisersDialight (DIA) 135.00p +5.88%Ricardo Group (RCDO) 207.50p +3.75%Antisoma (ASM) 26.00p +2.97%Axis-Shield (ASD) 365.00p +1.81%Imagination Technologies (IMG) 142.50p +1.79%Skyepharma (SKP) 120.00p +1.69%Kewill (KWL) 73.00p +1.04%Intec Telecom (ITL) 77.75p +0.97%Wolfson Microelectronics (WLF) 90.75p +0.83%ProStrakan (PSK) 88.50p +0.57%FTSE TechMARK - FallersFiltronic (FTC) 35.00p -4.11%Corin Group (CRG) 58.00p -3.33%Xaar (XAR) 94.00p -3.09%Puricore (PURI) 15.75p -3.08%Morse (MOR) 24.00p -3.03%BATM Advanced (BVC) 33.00p -2.94%Elan Corporation (ELA) € 5.20 -2.80%Biocompatibles International (BII) 180.00p -2.70%Psion (PON) 64.25p -2.65%ARC International (ARK) 11.50p -2.13%
