(ShareCast News) - First half pre-tax profits at troubled telecoms group TalkTalk rose to £46m from £14m as revenues fell by £10m to £902m.The company, which was fined a record £400,000 for failing to stop a cyber attack on its customer records, said it expected full year earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation to be at the lower end of £320m-£360m guidance.More than 100,000 customers walked away in the wake of the hack.Chief executive Dido Harding said the company had maintained a "relentless focus" on looking after existing customers and "keeping up the pace across a wide range of operational improvements to make TalkTalk simpler and better for customers."
