Shares in System C Healthcare rose over 2% after it reported a 49% increase in first half pre-tax profit and said it expects full year profit to be in line with market forecasts.The group, which provides information solutions and services to the UK health and social care sectors, said pre-tax profit rose to £2.8m in the six months ended 30 November 2009 compared with £1.9m the same time a year before. Revenue during the period was up 77% at £18.3m."We have a healthy pipeline of product and services opportunities for this financial year and beyond are confident of reporting continuing growth through the second half of the year and beyond," the group said in a company statement.The interim dividend has been increased to 0.25p per share from 0.22p.
