Sportech focuses on cash

Betting and gaming firm Sportech says trading is in line with expectations and it is focusing on cash generation. The acquisition of Scientific Games Racing has been completed and the business renamed Sportech Racing. The Football Pools has been launched on Ladbrokes.com and an agreement has been signed so that Football Pools can be distributed across the Caribbean and South America from the middle of next year. Sportech has secured the use of the Littlewoods brand for online gaming for a further five years. Pro-forma net debt was £73.6m at the end of June 2010. Sportech has lost two-fifths of its value in the past year.
