Small caps round up: Mirada, Turbotec, GBG ...

Shares in Mirada jumped after the audio-visual interaction specialist said it had won a research and development contract with an unnamed European telecommunications operator.Heat exchanger manufacturer Turbotec is to expand its manufacturing activities in Hickory, North Carolina as it relocates its existing manufacturing facilities in Connecticut into the site to achieve efficiencies and cost savings.The British Film Institute (BFI) has tasked identity management business GB Group with streamlining its membership database.GB will consolidate all of the BFI's member and customer databases into a single customer view (SCV) database. The information will then be made available to the BFI's marketing team.Amphion Innovations, the holding company focused on the medical and technology sectors, said its partner company Kromek has raised £12.3m through an oversubscribed series D financing. The share issue has diluted Amphion's stake in 3D imaging specialist Kromek to 17% from just under 20%. The stake is valued at £52m, Amphion said. Seeing Machines has announced the first contract following its recent master purchasing agreement with Freeport McMoRan Copper and Gold Inc. The company will supply Driver State Sensor monitoring equipment to the Grasberg mine in Indonesia. Grasberg is the largest gold mine and the third largest copper mine in the worldDriver State Sensor systems are devices fitted in vehicles to assess driver distraction and drowsiness. The system will be fitted in haul trucks, which cost up to $5m each, at the Grasberg mine and may be used on other vehicles in the future. The board of Hexagon Human Capital has put the executive search firm into administration. Immediately following their appointment, the administrators sold the business and assets of Hexagon and the business and assets of a number of Hexagon's subsidiaries to the company's management team.
