Schroders appoints Head of Investment

Peter Harrison has been appointed as Head of Investment at asset management and private banking group Schroders. He will take up the role with immediate effect. Andrew Beeson, the group's Chairman, said: "Peter's appointment to the board as Head of Investment reflects the strong growth the firm has seen in recent years, managing £268bn as at March 31st 2014. I am delighted to welcome him to the board." Shares in the group were 0.95% higher at 2,541p by 14:20 on Wednesday. NR
