(Sharecast News) - Budget airline Ryanair reported a 5% jump in passenger numbers for April on Tuesday.

Traffic rose to 19.3m from 18.3m in the same month a year earlier, while the load factor - which gauges how full the planes are - was steady at 93%.

On a rolling 12-month basis, passenger numbers grew 4% to 209.3m and the load factor was unchanged at 94%.

Ryanair operated over 108,000 flights in April.
