Anglo-Dutch household goods firm Reckitt Benckiser has hired Cobham's finance chief Warren Tucker as an independent non-executive director.Tucker joins Reckitt, which makes products like Dettol, Cillit Bang, Disprin and Harpic with immediate effect.The 47-year-old has been in the finance hot seat at defence and aerospace group Cobham since 2003. He was previously deputy finance director at Cable & Wireless, having honed his skills at British Airways, Euro Disney and Lazard Brothers."The board is delighted that Warren has agreed to join us," said chairman Adrian Bellamy. "He will bring valuable financial and commercial experience to the board. He will sit on our Audit Committee and I am sure he will make a significant contribution to the future success of the company."Reckitt found out yesterday it faces an investigation into sales of its Gaviscon heartburn medicines to the NHS after the OFT accused it of abusing its dominant market position.
