(ShareCast News) - Enterprise cloud computing services and web solutions provider RapidCloud International announced a new multi-phase, 12 month contract win for its RapidAPI gateway solution on Friday, with Malaysian conglomerate Sime Darby.The AIM-traded firm said the first phase integration between the IFCA Enterprise Resource Planning System and ReadSoft Process Director Business Automation tool is worth approximately MYR 0.2m to the company, with further phase roll outs expected throughout the next 12 months."Demand for the RapidAPI gateway middleware is increasing because of the need for large organisations to manage their operations in a more systematic way while, at the same time, ensuring proper security and governance are in place for better productivity and compliance," said RapidCloud managing director Raymond Chee."RapidAPI brings tremendous opportunities to RapidCloud because it functions as a platform and intermediary between various applications and interlinking between operations in various branches or subsidiaries within the group."In other words, the moment RapidAPI is being used by a client, it will continue to be enhanced and positioned more and more tightly integrated as a platform for all its operations, creating more revenue opportunities for RapidCloud in the future and we look forward to updating the market with additional contracts in due course," Chee added.
