(Sharecast News) - Medical imaging technology company Polarean Imaging announced the installation of its 9820 xenon polariser system at BC Children's Hospital in Vancouver on Monday.
The AIM-traded firm initially announced the system order in May, with the system being used to support the hospital's research into paediatric pulmonary disease.

"We are pleased to complete the installation of an investigational 9820 Xenon Polariser system at BC Children's Hospital," said chief executive officer Richard Hullihen.

"We look forward to its use in research to expand the knowledge base in pulmonary disease areas."

At 1443 BST, shares in Polarean Imaging were up 6.42% at 63p.
