Oilfield support services group Petrofac has secured a new North Sea contract with Britannia Operator Limited (BOL), the joint venture between Chevron and ConocoPhillips.The deal is worth £35m over a five year period, with the option of a five year extension.It continues a relationship between Petrofac and BOL dating back to 1998. Petrofac will continue to provide operations and maintenance support services for Britannia's ongoing operations in the central North Sea."This contract forms a core part of Petrofac's Offshore Engineering & Operations business and will enable us to continue to demonstrate our ability to deliver safe and efficient operations and maintenance capabilities in the UK North Sea," said Bill Dunnett, managing director of Petrofac Offshore Engineering & Operations.
