Petrofac CFO buys shares following better-than-expected interim results

Petrofac's financial officer increased his stake in the group two days after the oilfield services group released a good set of full-year results.Tim Weller bought 20,000 new shares for at 874p each, spending a total of £174,800 in the transaction.Weller now holds 97,146 shares, which represent 0.03% of the total voting rights of the oilfield services company.Despite a fall in net profits by 11% to $581m, this was still better than expectations of $572m.Its order backlog rose 26% to $18.9bn, with chief executive Ayman Asfari saying: "We remain on course to deliver net profit in 2015 in line with our previous guidance (not taking into account the drop in oil prices)".Shares were up 1.1% to 884.5 on Friday at 15:54.Top Director BuysTungsten Corporation (TUNG) Director name: Mr Edmund TruellAmount purchased: 500,000 @ 146.78p Value: £733,900Petrofac Ltd.
