NMC Health CEO and founder buys 10m shares

United Arab Emirates-based NMC Health saw its shares jump on Monday after its Chief Executive Officer and founder, B.R. Shetty, purchased 10m shares from its largest shareholder, H.E. Al Qebaisi. The 500p-a-share deal increased his holding to 47.74m, equal to a 25.71% stake in the integrated private sector healthcare operator.The purchase comes after Numis Securities last week reiterated its 'buy' rating following the group's pre-close trading statement issued the previous day. The statement confirmed its results would be in line with its expectations for the six months ending June 30th. The group also said it had received the necessary approvals to begin seeing patients at Brightpoint Womens Hospital and DIP General Hospital from the first week of July, one week later than planned.
