New prospecting license awarded to Botswana Diamonds joint venture

(ShareCast News) - The Botswana Government have awarded new prospecting license to Sunland Minerals, a joint venture between Botswana Diamonds and Alrosa.The license covers a 25 sq. km area in the Orapa region of Botswana, which contains three previously-discovered kimberlite bodies.Botswana Diamonds said work on reviewing the block has commenced with a view to defining new anomalies and drill targets.The existing kimberlites are also being reviewed to verify if they warrant further evaluation.The new licence is valid for three years from 1 October 2015.
