A director of one of Lindsell Train's star funds has cashed in 159,000 pounds of shares in the investment trust.Michael Mackenzie, a non-executive director of Lindsell Train Investment Trust, sold 500 shares, or 0.25% of the trust's issued shares, on July 19th for £318 a share.Fellow director Michael Lindsell and the fund's manager Nicholas Train each sold shares on May 4th at £236. The transaction leaves Mackenzie holding 1,825 non-beneficial shares in the trust.Lindsell Train Investment Trust's aim is to generate total returns that avoid losing absolute value and at least maintain the real purchasing power of sterling capital.
