Linda Hudson named BAE COO

BAE Systems today announced the appointment of Linda Hudson as an executive director of the defence giant. This follows her appointment as chief operating officer, BAE Systems plc and President and CEO of BAE Systems, Inc., effective immediately. Hudson was previously President of BAE Systems' Land & Armaments Operating Group.'Linda is a proven global business leader within our organisation and her promotion to this role is testament to the level of focus and high performance she has delivered while growing the Land & Armaments Operating Group into a highly successful global business,' said chairman Dick Olver.
