Document management software supplier Idox has won 1.5m dollar contract with a Canadian oil and gas company. AIM-listed Idox, which also supplies to the UK public sector, said its Engineering Information Management (EIM) division has agreed to supply its McLaren Enterprise solution software suite and related services to a "leading" oil and gas company in Canada. McLaren Enterprise solution software suite will be used to manage and optimise engineering business processes for new capital projects and existing asset operations, worth an initial $1.5m fee. Chief Executive Richard Kellett-Clarke said the contract was a significant endorsement of McLaren's capabilities as a supplier of "best in class" software solutions to asset intensive industries globally. "McLaren Software has more than 20 years of experience helping its customers implement robust document control and management systems for major capital projects and asset operations across the oil and gas industry."Shares in IDOX were up 1.9% to 33.75p at 14:25 on Thursday.OH
