IDOX and ArcelorMittal units ink software deal

Software and services provider IDOX said its subsidiary McLaren Software has inked a global agreement with a unit ArcelorMittal, the world's largest steelmaker, to supply its engineering document management application.The application - McLaren's Enterprise Engineer suite - will initially be deployed in a heavy engineering environment in ArcelorMittal's European Flat Carbon Division with an initial contract value of €0.5m. The contract will also allow other divisions within ArcelorMittal to sign up for McLaren's Enterprise Engineer suite and related services, IDOX said in its statement. ArcelorMittal has operations in more than 60 countries. Shares of the company climbed 2.2% to 23.2p in morning trading in London.AR
