As a report to Patrick Campion, chief executive of HSBC's U.S. private bank, Pittsey puts together teams for areas such as liquidity management, trust and estate administration, and various advisory services on behalf of wealthy individuals and families. Pittsey spent about three years as director of Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management's office in San Francisco. Before that, he spent 14 years with Wells Fargo Wealth Management group, ultimately as a regional director. He began his career as a financial management adviser with Chatsworth, Calif.-based Great Western Bank. HSBC Private Bank, a unit of HSBC Group, has 91 offices in 39 counties. It had $460 billion in assets under management at the end of 2009.
