Homeserve, a home emergency repairs business, said its business in trading in line with expectations with strong performance both in the UK and internationally.The group said it increased its marketing activity in the UK and it expects to achieve the target of 0.3m gross new customers in 2015.The US market also enjoyed a strong period after agreeing a partnership with AARP, a non-governmental organisation which helps retired people, in November last year where Homeserve will offer home emergency repair service plans to AARP members.It also reported improvements in customer acquisitions in France, Spain and Italy, while it continued to conduct test activity in Germany.Net debt was at £79m in December, with the group saying its balance sheet remains strong and the business continues to be cash generative.Shares fell 0.63% to 332.9p on Wednesday at 11:02.
