Plumbing emergency and domestic repair provider Homeserve has reassured in a terse trading statement that trading in its busy winter period has been "good" and in line with its full-year targets.As the FTSE 250 company prepares to go into reporting hibernation before its full-year results are released on 19 May, it said trading across the group in the final important quarter of the year "has been good, with retention and marketing activities performing well".Homeserve said its UK business was now expected to end the financial year to 31 March with 2.1m customers, the same as at the half-year results announced in September.Management was pleased with levels of customer growth across the international businesses, having reported good customer number growth in its February trading statement."The good performance from our UK and European businesses, despite the recent weakening of the euro, has enabled us to make further marketing investment in the USA."Overall, the group was said to be still trading in line with directors' expectations.
