LONDON (Dow Jones)--Home Retail Group PLC (HOME.LN) said Monday it purchased 300,000 ordinary shares on July 26. MAIN FACTS: -The highest price paid per share was 242 pence and the lowest price paid per share was 239.8 pence; The purchase, including stamp duty and other transaction costs, represented an average price of 241.10 pence per share and GBP724,373 in total. -The purchase has been funded from group cash resources; Purchased shares will be cancelled. -Shares at 1608 GMT up 1 pence or 0.41%, at 242 pence, valuing the company at GBP2.04 billion. -By Tapan Panchal, Dow Jones Newswires.
