Futura hit by more delays to CSD500

Erectile dysfunction treatments developer Futura Medical says that there will be further delays in the CSD500 condom getting its CE mark but management believes that the regulator's queries can be addressed in a relatively short period of time. The CSD500 condom helps men to maintain a firm erection. The product is being manufactured and distributed by Durex, which is now owned by Reckitt Benckiser.The queries relate to minor details rather than the substance of the CE application. There should be no need for additional data or development work. The share price of AIM-quoted Futura has doubled in the past year on the back of hopes for the CDS500 condom. The share price has fallen 7.75p to 79p.
