FTSE 250 movers: Spirax-Sarco dips on sluggish order growth, Zoopla reverses

Life sciences, seals and controls outfit Diploma topped the fallers after disappointing investors with a cautious outlook, saying it still sees "headwinds to organic growth". Numis Securities lowered its rating on the stock to 'hold' from 'add', saying it was looking "for a better entry point into the shares".Zoopla reversed from Friday's gains,which were driven by the outcome of the general election and the elimination of Labour's mansion tax, deemed a threat to premium trade.Spirax-Sarco Engineering was in the red after revealing sluggish order growth, particularly in Asia, prompting analysts at Numis to lower their rating on the stock to 'hold'. Hunting was also trading lower on a downgrade from Numis, who dropped their rating to 'hold'.Vedanta Resources was boosted by the rate cut in top metals consumer China.Inchcape was trading higher after equities research analysts at Deutsche Bank raised their target price on the stock from 800p to 885p.Sage outperformed the wider market after analysts at Goldman Sachs upped their target price on the shares to 565p from 540p. In a note dated 8 May the bank's analysts reiterated their neutral stance on the stock. Their valuation is the result of assigning an 85% weighting to their p/e-based valuation of 553 plus a 15% weighting for M&A potential - on the basis of 4.5 times calendar year 2016 estimated sales, which yields a target of 630p.
