FTSE 250 movers: Bank of Georgia rises on medium-term outlook

Bank of Georgia Holdings rose after it updated investors on its medium-term strategic goals, saying it would continue to focus on the Georgian market. It said that it expects that its strategy will continue to target over the medium term to deliver a return on average equity of 20%, customer lending and deposit growth of 20% per annum and tier 1 capital ratio of 20%. It also said it will continue to aim to maintain a dividend payout ratio in the 25%-40% range, with additional one-off special dividends to be considered in the next few years.The lender also announced it is targeting initial public offerings (IPO) for two of its business divisions in 2015 and it expects to increase its business in the healthcare and insurance branches by adding hospitals to its portfolio.Marstons rose following the announcement of two new non-executive directors, Carolyn Bradley and Catherine Glickman, who are due to join the group in October and December, respectively.Meanwhile, Foxtons was in the red after 7.3% of the group's shares were offered in an accelerated bookbuild. According to Bloomberg, the shares were priced at 232p apiece.Just Eat retreated from a surge earlier in the week which came after Jefferies initiated coverage of the stock with a 'buy' rating and gave a bullish outlook for the takeaway delivery marketplace's prospects.Polymetal International retreated from Thursday's gains which resulted from the news it has completed its acquisition of Altynalmas Gold, the holding company for the Kyzyl gold project in Kazakhstan, from Sumeru Gold.
