Emergency repair service provider Homeserve brings out an interim management statement (IMS) on Friday covering the period from 1 October to the present. "The group has a heavy second half profit weighting, so the IMS is likely to attract a lot of interest. There will also be a lot of focus on updated comments about its US development, which potentially will provide medium term excitement for the share price," says broker Panmure Gordon, which has a neutral stance on the stock. If the schedule for UK company results tomorrow is a little bare then the same can be said of the economic events calendar, at least for the UK. The Producer Price Input Index for January is expected to show a 1.4% increase after December's 3.4% gain, which, if correct, should ease some of the pressure building up in the inflation pipeline. The annual gain is expected to widen to 12.7% from 12.5% in December, however, but the year on year gain on the Output index is tipped to narrow to 3.0% from 4.2%. The month on month gain on the Producer Prices Output Index is forecast to be 0.4%, following on from December's 0.5% rise.INTERIM DIVIDEND PAYMENT DATEUmecoQUARTERLY PAYMENT DATEM&G Equity Inv Trust Income SharesQUARTERLY EX-DIVIDEND DATELilly (Eli) & CoINTERNATIONAL ECONOMIC ANNOUNCEMENTSConsumer Prices Index (GER) (07:00)Current Account (FRA) (07:45)Non-Farm Payroll (FRA) (07:45)Wage Growth (07:45)Balance of Trade (US) (13:30)University of Michigan Consumer Confidence (US) (14:55)GMSDDD Group, Fidelity China Special Situations IMSSHomseserve, ShaftesburyAGMSEnegi Oil, OMG, Shaftesbury, Thomas Cook GroupTRADING ANNOUNCEMENTSS & UFINAL DIVIDEND PAYMENT DATEBritvic, Daily Mail and General Trust, Daily Mail and General Trust 'Ord' Shares, Grainger, JPMorgan Asian Inv Trust, LonminUK ECONOMIC ANNOUNCEMENTS Producer Prices (09:30)
