Experian director takes advantage of recent decline in share price

A non-executive director of credit information group Experian has acquired a stake in the group worth 114,720 pounds, it said on Monday. Jan Babiak bought 11,000 shares at 1,042.91p a piece, taking advantage of the fall seen in the share price in the past fortnight. The decline came after the group cautioned on headwinds in Brazil and the US, which it said were affecting immediate prospects.In its annual results released on May 7th, the group said: "In the short term, we face a number of one-off headwinds, most notably a subdued trading environment in Brazil over the World Cup and the revenue impact of the changes we are driving in North American Consumer Services, which together will constrain growth in the first half."However, it also said its organic development prospects are set to brighten as the second half of the year progresses.
