Duncan Gillis leaves John Crane

(ShareCast News) - Duncan Gillis, president of engineered products and services company John Crane, is leaving the role.Its parent company, FTSE 100 listed Smiths Group, announced the management change on Thursday.Chief executive Andy Reynolds Smith thanked Gillis for his contribution to the group since he joined three years ago."We have mutually agreed that now is an appropriate time for Duncan to pursue his career outside the group, and I wish him every success."The company said the process to appoint a replacement is underway.Tedd Smith, currently President of Flex-Tek, will step in as Interim President of John Crane with immediate effect.Pat McCaffrey, currently Chief Operations Officer at Flex-Tek, will be Interim President of Flex-Tek.
