Diploma appoints new non-exec director

(ShareCast News) - Anne Thorburn has been named as non-executive director of Diploma, the specialised technical products supplier said on Tuesday.Thorburn, who is currently serving as chief financial officer at Exova Group and previously served as group finance director at British Polythene Industries, stepped into here new role on 7 September.Meanwhile, the FTSE 250 company has also announced Marie-Louise Clayton will retire as chairman of the audit committee and from the board on 16 November.Diploma shares were up 0.22% to 667.47p at 0825 BST on Tuesday.
