Standard Chartered: "We acknowledge the strength of the management team in driving the quality of the results with low levels of current impairments, but don't see large upside in the stock price from current levels given the need for continued strong volume growth and the below normalised impairments levels needed into the future in a slowing macroeconomic environment to meet current consensus estimates" [Investec].CSR: "Today's announcement, while an admission of a failure in strategy to penetrate markets dominated by MediaTek and MStar, also offers the promise of potential recovery from the change in strategy.... Prime Markets backs CSR for a short term bounce back with a speculative buy rating. Longer term though, management will have to demonstrate the strategy is delivering results and savings" [Prime Markets].Aegis: "Aegis continues to be the best-performing agency in 2011 both in terms of fundamentals and share price performance...However, more recently since the market sell-off began in late July, Aegis has slightly underperformed the peer group, which appears to us to be unjustified by fundamental performance" [Nomura].
