Dialight Gets National "Smart Grid" Supply Pact In US

LONDON (Dow Jones)--Dialight PLC (DIA.LN), a provider of LED lighting technology, Monday announces the signing of a supply agreement for its PowerPulse ANSI 200-amp disconnect/reconnect load switch. MAIN FACTS: -This agreement with a new Dialight customer, one of the major North American metering companies, is initially for three years and is in direct support of the United States Advanced Meter Infrastructure Initiative, a program to deploy "smart" metering across the "smart grid" nationwide. -Shares at 0719 GMT up 14.5 pence, or 4.3%, at 350.0 pence.
