Dialight appoints new US chief officer

LED lighting group Dialight appointed Michael Sutsko as its new chief executive followig a global search process.Sutsko's appointment follows Roy Burton's resignation due to ill health in March.The new chief executive is also the president of the performance materials division of Laird, and will be based in New Jersey, USA, where Dialight said it has a significant proportion of operations.Chairman Bill Ronald said: "We believe that his skills and extensive US experience will be invaluable to Dialight as the company focuses on improving operational performance and delivering strong future growth."Shares were up 0.13% to 748.5p on Thursday at 13:04.
