The UK's Daily Mail & General Trust achieved a six per cent rise in first quarter revenue of 472m pounds, driven by 10 per cent growth in its business to business operations.The parent company of The Daily Mail newspaper said its outlook for the year is unchanged. The Mail Online's ad revenues increased by 48% to £14m in the three months to the end of December, offsetting a fall in print advertising.Print ad revenues dropped by £1m to £53m, at the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday across the quarter.Advertising revenues across the Daily Mail's print and online operation grew by 5%. Circulation revenues dipped 2% on an underlying basis, partially offset by a cover price increase last year.DMG Media, the umbrella division which houses the Mail business and the Metro and daily deals service Wowcher, posted total revenues up 2% to £201m.The division's total underlying ad revenues jumped 6% in the five weeks since December 29th.RD
