IT services provider Computacenter grew revenues by 8% in the first three months of the year and has seen similar growth rates during the second quarter, led by a strong rebound in the UK.Sales came in at £616m as services revenue grew by 2% during the first three months, and there's been a small increase in this growth since then.Product revenue was up 9%, including disposals, acquisitions and currency movements, and by 12% excluding them. That growth has been maintained.A 20% surge in UK product sales was "flattered" by one large project, which is not ongoing, although even without that growth still topped 10%. Growth of 3% in UK services has increased again in Q2.Elsewhere, there's been a "material" pick-up in March at the German business following a slow start to the year and 13% rise in services revenue in France."After a challenging 2009 for our product business, we saw a strong rebound in Q1 2010, particularly in the UK," the firm said. "Whilst it is not certain that these growth rates can be maintained throughout the year, the signs are encouraging.""Our services business has seen slower growth than we have become used to, but we are expecting this to improve as the year progresses. Trading this year to date across the Group has increased our confidence of another year of progress for Computacenter, in line with management expectations."The next update is scheduled for 13 July.
