Defence technology supplier Cohort has won a £5.8m training services contract for the Ministry of Defence's Permanent Joint Headquarters (PJHQ) at Northwood.The contract is for an initial two year period, which starts at the beginning of April. There is an option for a third year. If the contract lasts for the three year term, it will be worth the full £5.8m. The business has been providing services to PJHQ since 1998. The contract covers joint operation training involving the MOD, Cabinet Office and other government departments.The contract has provided a boost to the share price of AIM-quoted Cohort. Profit warnings have hit the share price over the past couple of years.
