Cohort in multiple contract win

Independent technology group Cohort has won several contracts through its subsidiaries, MASS and SCS, worth a total of six million pounds. MASS has landed two contracts worth £3m to supply an Electronic Warfare (EW) database to customers in the Middle East and Far East, with first delivery due within one month. The business will also be supplying secure ICT infrastructures, a comprehensive training package, and in-country support.SCS has won a major £3m training contract with the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) to provide training and exercise support services for the Joint Warfare Division of the UK's Joint Forces Command. It will be delivered over the period to March 2015, and may be extended for a further year.Chief Executive Officer Andrew Thomis said: "These orders for [the EW database] are excellent news for MASS and the group. They are a further mark of success for this important product, which has already been selected as the UK's next generation EW data management system. The capability it provides has a direct and critical operational impact on modern armed forces." "SCS's contract award from the Joint Forces Command is also a great achievement and represents a clear recognition that SCS provides the best operational level exercise support services in the defence industry. Contracts of this type enhance the group's market leading position and provide an excellent reference for similar opportunities in the UK and overseas."
