Chariot Oil & Gas Chairman steps down

Chariot Oil & Gas said its Chairman Philip Loader is stepping down from the board to join Woodside Petroleum as its Executive Vice President on July 1st.George Canjar, Chariot's Senior Independent Director, will replace Loader as Chairman."The past three years with Chariot have been an interesting and enjoyable experience during which time the company has made important strides towards its goal," Loader said."The company is at an exciting stage of development and I will be eager to monitor the continued progress over the coming years."The group also announced its Exploration Director, Matthew Taylor, will be appointed as Technical Director. He has more than 30 years of experience in exploration and production, having worked for BP, BHP Petroleum, Hunt Oil and Triton Energy.RD
