Centaur Media names Kerswell CFO

Events organiser and publisher Centaur Media has appointed Mark Kerswell as chief financial officer with immediate effect following the resignation of Mike Lally.Mark has been interim finance director since 13 June 2011 when Mike went on extended sick leave. Previously Mark was deputy finance director and chief operating officer at business publisher and trade events group Informa. Centaur CEO Geoff Wilmot said, "In the short time he has been with us, he has already made a substantial impact." Centaur, which publishes the Lawyer and Marketing Week, underwent significant restructuring in 2011 and expects to benefit from recent investments in digital services. ---cj
