Builder and support services group Carillion has won a £70m deal to build the second stage of a hospital and medical centre in Saudi Arabia.Carillion said phase two of the Aldara Hospital and Medical Centre in Riyadh would be a state-of-the-art hospital and the largest outpatient centre in Saudi, close to the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre and also Al Faisal University.The group said the development, which is being built to meet rising demand for health care in the kingdom, would have cutting-edge training and education facilities and should create jobs.Chief Executive Richard Howson said: "We are delighted to have been selected to deliver this prestigious project, our second hospital project in Saudi Arabia, which offers significant opportunities for growth that contribute to the improving outlook in our Middle East markets."PW
